There’s no way around version 6, I’m really disappointed. I remember when it was released and I opened it, the first thing that struck me was the interface. I literally thought, “They’ve screwed it up”… everything in version 6 is much more complicated than in version 5. Anyway, aside from that…
Even though it’s been out for quite some time, it still behaves like a beta program, even in the simplest tasks. Not even the “move” function works properly. Here’s the problem:
I open the newly installed software (clean install, latest version), add a cube from “test model,” select the cube, click the “move” button, and I find a 10mm offset on the Z-axis relative to the printer bed… (as seen in the image).
How is this possible? I’ve had to stick with version 5, which hasn’t been updated in ages.
