I have a Creality Falcon2 Pro 22W and I’m experiencing a strange issue with the laser output.
The machine itself works normally:
-homing works,
-movement works correctly,
-framing works,
-and the low-power laser preview (“Fire” / frame laser) is visible.
However, when I start an actual cutting or engraving job, the laser does not switch to cutting power. The head follows the correct path, but the laser stays at very low power or does not burn/cut at all.
Additional observations:
-I already cleaned the laser module and connectors.
-The fan and lights turn on normally
-The machine previously started a job correctly, completed most of it, and then suddenly stopped cutting in one area.
- S-value max essta correcto en 1000.
Has anyone experienced this same issue with a Creality Falcon2 Pro_?
In the 1% low power mode (disable the safety switches on the inside front left, wear safety goggles) point it at a white wall 1m or more away. You should see 4 individual diodes with the 22W, how many are there?
Hi @s3sebastian,
I can only see 3 horizontal blue lines. As additional information, the laser does not stay on for very long. When I use the Fire button at 1% power (or any other power level), it turns on for a few seconds and then shuts off automatically.
It should have 4 (4 x 5.5W) that module is likely at least partially toast, unless the lowest one is two lines overlapping (is any line twice as bright?). The middle one also looks a bit more faint.
Write the support I hope it’s still under warranty.
Thanks for the feedback! I only see 3 lines, and the middle one seems noticeably fainter than the other two. Unfortunately, the module is already out of warranty. I’ll look for a replacement module on the market; it seems Creality only offers the 40W version now and not the 22W version anymore. I’ll contact them anyway to check my options. Thanks again for all your help!
