When loading PETG system will not allow you to select a PLA unless you change petg to PLA - my K2 plus is same exact way and it’s really really really annoying
What do you want to do? Mixed PLA and PETG prints work, I have used one as the support structure for the other already. I have set PLA in 3 and PETG in one of the 4 slots of the CFS Lite currently,

That is a very good thing that it does that, if you ask me. The temperature that they need to print at is very important as is the bed temperature. They are so different that you cannot print the way you describe by fooling the system. If you have been successful doing this you are asking for karma to reign down on you and the printer may explode one day … just kidding.
Just a side note.
PETG and PLA won’t stick together. Also the printing parameters will be different temperature / speed / retraction.
It will be good as the support for PLA printing or the other way around.
