Where can I buy a new magnetic sticker to Creality K2 260x260

Hi,
Yesterday, I managed to tear 5 big lines in my soft magnetic sticker. The reason for this was that the metallic buildplate was not placed all the way back when I started the print ( I have my printer on the floor, so its a bit hard to see sometimes). The calibration failed, and the nozzle got placed below the bed. I tried to lower the bed from the touch-screen, but was not allowed to since the bed was not calibrated. I pressed the house icon, and the nozzle tore straight through the whole magnetic sheet.

What I can understand is that it’s possible to remove the adhesive soft rubbery magnetic layer and replace it, but I have not been able to find a reseller for the Creality K2. I guess I can order a bigger sheet and cut it, but it requires some more work since it has notches in the back and holes for the screws.

You need to buy and replace the Heated bed, sorry mate that is expensive. Can be 80+ USD

And: NO, you can not replace only the magnetic sheet, the heat bed is a unserviceable part once you try to disassemble will be damaged.

try to print with the “damaged” bed may be is no completely ruined.

I would put the print plate back on and try printing something in those areas. It might be useable. If you cant get a good print then you will have to replace the entire bed

I will run a thin sheet test and check the results. The K2 plus bed is too big, and it seems like the 260x260x260 replacements are not available, so I will contact the support regarding those!

Same issue, I will buy a generic sticker before change the entire bed,
I’ll try to heat the bed to remouve the damaged one.
why the soft didn´t check the plate before calibrate?

The software indeed check it! but you need to be connected to cloud.

Hi, contact the support and attach images, they sent a new one to me (I think only the magnetic sticker), which will arrive today, so I will soon know if it was the whole bed or only the sticker!

I run Orca Slicer so it probably lacks the image error recognition.

You can remove the magnetic sheet, just take time and effort…

The image recognition is not done by the slicer, is done by the cloud service.

nor the printer nor the slicer have the power to do it.

I got a new free heated bed under warranty, so make sure to create a support ticket with Creality.

Ahh your right its not handled by the slicer, it just has to be connected to the cloud!
