So…. My heat block is damaged. I’ve had a clog that over flooded into the heating element and trying to clean it one of the power wires broke. I need to buy a new one, but I cannot find one. On amazon, I found this (first link below) which looks the same, but two reviews are bad. Then there is also this block (second link), that could work? I don’t know since I don’t see any technical specifications. In the EU creality store (I’m in Italy) they don’t mention my printer at all so buying from them is not an option for me. I did submit a tech request though
I purchased the “Creality Hotend K1 Max/K1/K1 SE/K1C Ceramic Heating Block Kit with Buckle…” for my K1C shortly after a catastophic failure of the original hotend on my K1C. The printer was only 1 month old when the original hot end failure occurred after only a few weeks of use..
I’ve been very happy with it and it has seen heavy use for around 3 months. I have done a lot of CF prints and nozzle wear is minimal.
Be aware that both the connectors used on the hotends advertised are the old style and did not match the connecters on the control board. This required purchasing a connectors and crimping kit to match the control board and, for me, was difficult to get right.
