Hello Community!
I got a brand new Halot one Plus last Christmas, and I started printing with it not too long ago. And my printer runs half the day most of the time during the week.
I haven’t had any issues so far but since this isn’t my first printer, I know that print screens are consumables and since I hate looking for these parts at the last minute, I started looking for some today because I don’t even know what the average life of the screen is. I read somewhere that the average can be at least 400 hours and maybe 2000 hours. That’s a big difference, right?
For me, 400 hours is at best around 40 days. And then what am I going to do? Throw away my printer like some of your customers are already doing? (many advertise on second-hand sites because they can’t find print screens)
I couldn’t believe it until now, when I went to the official Creality online stores (all of them). I couldn’t find a 7.9" 8k mono LCD print screen for my Halot 1+. So I looked elsewhere, and finally found one on a store on a merchant site, sold by a seller at an incredibly high price, almost double if I can compare to other 3D printer suppliers for print screens of the same size and quality (8k).
So I’m a little confused. If Creality doesn’t provide their own consumables:
Where can I get these screens at a normal price?
And what is their average life span?
Please let me know soon
Looking forward to hearing from you
Kind regards
