Why Does Creality only have Creality and Generic Filaments by default

Hi All,

I started using Creality Print but quickly moved to OrcaSlicer as it allowed me to use other manufactures filaments with the correct values without having to manually input them why cant Creality print allow the same? or am i missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah unfortunately other brands filaments aren’t available, you’d indeed need to manually change the settings and then save the new profile. You would only need to do it once, but still not ideal (also use orca myself a lot of times to use other filaments)

@h3li0 thanks I love orca slicer but every time I put a pause in the slice it fails (every time) any ideas

no sorry, it works fine for me (just tested to be sure and slices normally with a pause) - i’m on version 2.3.1 of orca, and use it with my k2 plus

I have a Ender 3V3SE done a few things before just not too sure why it’s happening now

@SASSpud You might have already done this but when you manually insert a pause make sure to reslice it so it gets written in the code..

@jimandyen thank you for your advice I have actually tried that but it’s like the nozzle digs in
