Why is Creality Cloud for iOS so unstable

Why is it that when I use Creality Cloud on an iPad, iPhone or a Mac it is totally hit or miss.

Most often video feed will fail, CFS (x2) are not shown only the “learn CFS” screen, Time lapses are not available.

If I “try again” about 8 times eventually it will show the video and CFS and show the time lapse videos but they always fail to download.

My K2 Pro has a dedicated Ethernet connection so my WiFi is not the issue. All firmware is up to date.

When I use Creality print on my PC everything seems to work fine so it looks to me like there is an issue with the iOS version..

Which versions of iOS? All the problems you describe sound like network issues. iOS historically and notoriously has been pretty buggy when it comes to networking. There have been a lot of “minor updates” recently, and most of them are for network and security bugs. Since iOS is a minority OS, Creality probably haven’t put the effort into all the work-arounds needed to connect an iOS device reliably. IMHO, stick with the PC (or linux) and be glad you have a mainstream alternate computer.
