K1 max, ABS filament, all stock settings, using creality latest driver and print slicer, filament stored in esun dry box.
I often print my part using ABS, and the result suddenly got problem mostly on the first layer, whenever i print parts that got a fillet shape the result always got the filament string coming out but sometimes it works well too.
do i need to use support everytime i print my parts?? is there a fix for this?? i also check level bed option everytime before printing. the saddest part is that a simple square shape also got problem.
my advice:
do K1 max auto (filament) calibration with abs the machine will adjust PA values and flowrate then
after done that
You can put settings Ironing at “on” type “all top surfaces” and flow ironing at “15%”, Only one wall at topsurfaces checked.
seam on closest corner.
and scarf joint seam at contour and hole, scarf length at 10 mm
Nozzle at 260 degrees celsius and fans off
and with these settings the results should be good
Thanks for giving me some trounleshooting solution!
It looks like my filament dryer box is the one made the problem, the time i changed to the other abs filament, the result back to normal again.
It looks like i wont need to heat my abs filament (50 degree) anymore it just causing printing problem. I just use it as filament storage without turning thr heat on from now on.
maybe you didn’t print with calibration with the heated abs. The machine adjust the flowrate and pressure advance values when you do so it should print well with the heated abs version too.
