Hello everyone I just got the Creality Hi printer and I am running into an issue when trying to connect it to WiFi. When I going into settings and then network there are not avelible WiFi to join. See the picture bellow. Has anyone run into this before? Anyone know how to fix it?
Hello @titostl1
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
Did you configure your network when the printer first ran the setup…?
Maybe do a factory reset and see if it will work.
How far from your router is the printer.?
Yes, everything was working when I first set it up. I have already tried factory reset and upgrading/downgrading the firmware.
Be sure that you WiFi is on 2.4 Ghz.
Just for Yuks, insure your router is broadcasting the SSID of your WIFI network. You shouldn’t need this if it was already configured, but it will help diagnose.
I’ve encountered the same issue with my printer. They even offered to send me a motherboard because I purchased two of them from the same factory in LA. Both printers arrived with Wi-Fi issues. There were no networks that could be detected.
I already have an Ender 3 V3 Core XZ printer, and it works fine with the network. The problem isn’t with 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz because the printer needs to connect to the network first. I have several networks in my area, and all my neighbors have Wi-Fi systems. However, none of them work. I get a blank screen instead.
If you don’t mind not being able to use the full features of your printer, I suggest returning it. I couldn’t even view the cameras after a print or access the application because I had no network. I manually updated the machine, but it still showed a blank screen.
I bought this printer specifically to be able to print on the go because it prints well. I had no problems with the prints at all. I keep a clean board and follow the instructions to the letter. The CFS on the other hand, was excellent.
I’d give it at least an 8 out of 10, but I was so disappointed that I requested a refund. I’ll try to purchase this machine again in the future, but not right now. The price is higher due to tariffs, so I’m definitely going to have to wait. Maybe I’ll look into the smaller version of the K2 Plus, but I think this is a terrible rollout for this machine. It’s such an excellent printer, and the network problems are major because you can’t print without loading it up on a SD card.
