Sometimes during a print I might spot some filament clinging to the nozzle of my K2 which then makes me nervous in case it comes off during the remainder of the print - is it possible to tell the printer to pause, quickly wipe the nozzle then resume the print?
Press pause on printer screen (bottom right next to stop icon) will cause the nozzle to go to the back.
I use a stiff brush or cloth, depending.
Then press resume/play icon to continue
Yes, that’s what I did the last time it happens, but I was hoping there was some way to use the built-in wipe, which if not seems like a wasted opportunity to use a built-in feature. Would help to save on the need for the printer to reset things like the chamber temperature which will be affected by opening the door to manually clean it myself. Oh well.
Hello Taomyn did you figure out a way to perform the nozzle wipe automatically ? I have Ender-3 V3 KE and interested in the same information.
Unfortunately not, I did think that perhaps using the Fluidd console it might be possible but I couldn’t figure that out.
