Wireless Hub Data Networking

I have been configuring my new Ferret Pro and noticed something in the Wireless Bridge configuration. I was disappointed that the Wireless bridge has its own private wi-fi network, instead of connecting to my Wi-Fi network. As it stands, I have to disconnect my phone from my wifi network and connect to wireless bridge’s wifi network which is not connected to the internet.

However, I noticed that the Wireless bridge is actually a Router with the IP address pf 192.168.193.1. And that one could actually login to the router, if one had the password. Having been in Data networking for over 30 years and configuring routers since the late 1980s, I pay attention to how wireless networks are configured with both Hardware and software. If the Wireless hub really is a router, then I should be able to configure it to make my Wifi it’s internet connection OR (Ideally) configure to join my Wifi network.

A wifi 6 to ethernet bridge might work too, as long as it has enough throughput. Connect it to the Ferret Pro from a computer, then move it to a router port.

I just got a Ferret Pro also, and have been thinking about this. I would tend to think it’s more of just a wifi client vs a router. I was thinking about connecting it to a computer via wifi and then sharing that connection like you used to share a laptop connection with another device. I don’t remember all the details on being able to connect through that bridge though.
