Worse company ever for support, Will not respond to e-mail phone calls or chats on website. The product seems ok, but the support makes me wish I had gone with another company.
Such a shame that my future purchases will be based on the crealitys non existent customer support.
Machine crapped a week after I got it and I have been trying to contact someone for support but everywhere I turn (phone and chat) says we have no agents available, or emails go lost in space somewhere and never responded to even using several different e-mail addresses for them.
You may want to consider what time of year it is. A lot of tech support is probably helping new K2 users. Why don’t you state your issue with the printer here rather than just post a rant?
Ok I’ll try maybe someone will know something, I have been trying since November to get ahold of support from creality so it’s more than a rant.
After the first 5 successful prints I had a print fail and it filled the bottom half of the print head with filament including the outside, I tried over an hour to get the cover off and there was no way, so I heated the nozzle with the machine and used a heat gun for the outside and by the time I was able to get enough filament off to see the bottom of the print head, the cover and fan shroud were deformed.
I was eventually able to get the cover off, but it was unusable since it hits the bed when I reinstall it, as was the fan shroud (after a less than a week of receiving the machine).
I have been trying to contact creality to see if they can help me or if they can at least direct me to a place where I can get parts since there is nothing available on their website except nozzles and a couple other parts I don’t need. I have even tried asking if I could do an RMA or ANYTHING but no response from anyone. If I could at least get replacement parts I would be ok even if I had to buy them for a machine that is 5 prints old.
So yeah, I’m feeling a little frustrated.
What printer and where did you buy from?
Hi Kevin, Sound like your print came loose from the bed and stuck to the nozzle causing the filament build up around the nozzle. This usually means the z-step needs adjusting. You could also use a glue stick on your bed to assist holding the print on. The other thing that is very important is to use Isopropyl Alcohol and a paper towel to clean the build plate after every print, if you have touched the build plate with your fingers at all, the oil from your fingers will be on the build plate , this causing the print not to stick and then you have the problem you have.
As for parts I find Ali-express the best place to source from, if you have another printer or know someone with one you can get another hotend cover here https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/664a59715672bab1b2633ed0?source=32
The best way to get hold of Creality support is through their facebook support page Creality Support and use the WhatsApp button. Remember they are on +8GMT timezone and work Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm
Hmm sorry to hear this. Good luck.
It is the Ender 3 V3 3D Printer and I bought it directly from crealitys website.
That is for the Ender 3 V3 KE. I can not find parts for the Ender 3 V3 3D printer anywhere.
I do wash the plate before printing and clean the plate with alcohol and I use MO2016 All-in-One 3D Printer Adhesive Glue which seems to work very well.
