Y Axis shifting

Fairly new to 3D printing I picked up a pair of used Ender 3 V3 SE’s with a Sonic Pad.

Printing PLA on an Ender 3 V3 SE with a Sonic Pad. OI have tried slicing in Cura and Creality.

  • Hotend 200
  • Bed of 60
  • Speed 60 mm/s
  • Flow was run at 105

The bottom few layers looked good so I headed outside for a few hours and come back to find this blue filament). I pulled out the other printer black filament).

I am lost, I have run it through moves, manually and via the controls, and it is very smooth with nothing binding, no cables getting in the way, rails are not sticky or any issues that I can find.

I hope I have included all the details needed.

Have you checked the belt tensions, I have found the SE to be picky regarding this?

I have and the tensioner is snug with no what appears to be a proper flex in the belt. Does not seem to be enough flex to allow it to jump teeth.

You have to change a parameter in printer.cfg see https://www.reddit.com/r/CrealitySonicPad/comments/1b5pif2/how_to_fix_sonic_pad_v3_se_layer_shifting_issues/

Thank you. Between replacing the Y belt, squaring up the X axis and making your suggested fix, it is now running like a dream.
