My z axis will not move down to auto home or start printing. When I disable the stepper I can move it down by hand, but it will not move down when I tell it to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had a similar problem with my ender 3 v2. Could drive the Z up but not down. Do you have a BLtouch or Crtouch installed? The problem with mine was the Z limit wire had an open circuit.
Worked Ok when repaired.
If you are using the Z limit micro switch check the connection to the switch or the board or the switch itself.
