I have seen this post Wont level key2194 error
about the Error 2194 and how it relates to the CR TOUCH.
I have tried numerous things such as making sure there are no bent pins on daughter board and that the plug housing and connectors are ok.
I have taken the touch apart and oiled the pin and made sure no wiring issue there. I still get the issue but see the pin come in and out.
I can get it to print after messing around with trying and failing and then trying a few more times.
I can’t believe that adding 8 volts of power to the Touch is the answer here after how much time has elapsed from that original post.
I’ve noticed that during startup, my Ender 3 V3 KE, using Creality Print, performs a series of steps before beginning the actual print:
- Initial Centering and Probing:
• The printer moves to the center of the bed and performs two probe touches.
- Heating to Printing Temperature:
• It then moves to the side and heats the nozzle to the target printing temperature.
- Re-centering and Probing:
• After reaching the printing temperature, it returns to the center and performs two more probe touches.
- Temperature Reduction:
• The printer moves back to the side and lowers the nozzle temperature to 140°C.
- Final Centering and Probing:
• Once the temperature drops, it centers again and performs two additional probe touches.
- Bed Leveling:
• It then moves to the side, waits briefly, and starts the bed leveling process.
- Final Preparations:
• After leveling, the printer reheats to the printing temperature, returns to the center for two final probe touches, moves to the side to confirm bed and nozzle temperatures, performs a purge line, and begins printing.
This sequence seems to involve multiple temperature adjustments and probing steps before each print. Is this standard behavior for the Ender 3 V3 KE, or is there a way to streamline this startup routine?
Above is another question above and beyond the 2194 error which i have to believe there is another fix for by now.
Any and all responses are appreciated thank you!
