Curious how often everyone runs the auto level and z auto offset? I was doing it every different file. Now I generally only do it if I have had the plate off.
I have also put washers under two corners and have the corner to corner within 1 mm before leveling.
Thoughts?
If I have a few items to print I’ll clean the base plate. Then I run the ‘equipment self test’ before I print anything. That seems to work 99% of the time and I get decent quality prints. I do check my printer every week for maintenance and always check the auto levelling. It doesn’t really need any tweeking.
I only have a simple set up. My KE sits on 2 expaned foam sheets (the type used for model making) which, in turn, sit on a sturdy table.
