Beta Tester Recruitment – Be the First to Experience Our Latest Innovation! 📢

Much appreciated, @Radical_Data! Honored to be chosen, and I’ll do my best to put together an awesome, hands-on review. Excited to see what Creality has cooked up for us this time!

I can only second the comments of Iron3Dad and hope to provide a good review.

In addition to having space for multiple spools it the ability to setup and control the dryer vis wi-fi or Bluetooth would be useful.

Ive never used a drier so I would love to beta test on one and give full reports. Pick me!

Do you not experience stringing when you print TPU or PETG, even PLA needs gooddrying.

Yes I do actually, but until your comment now I had not put the two together. I try to vacuum seal them back in the bags after each use, but I guess if they are wet they technically would stay that way even vacuum sealed. Thank you for this.

Even a brand new out of the packet reel can be a bit damp, best to dry everything. Where I live it is very humid, albeit cold, but I run all my printers direct from driers. When I print TPU I cut off the bit between drier and printer as that short piece will be wet enough to cause problems.

Not for nothing… a dry box is a challenge I’d be willing to tackle.

No thanks, I challenge you to come up with something better than my dry box.

With all due respect, instead of coming out with new products and expending resources to develop them -why not work on your flagship models that many, many people are having issues with to the point of not being able to reliably print? Myself and from what I’m observing a ton of the K2 plus users are experiencing show-stopping issues that could definitely use some attention, and I’m sure it was likely a case of needing to release before another company beat you to the punch - but at the cost of your loyal customers facing endless hours of frustration, regret, and misery. When you sell a product at the price point the K2 plus comes at, you should really take the time to make sure it actually works properly and well - not just works sometimes and with a ton of effort from the consumer. From issues with doors falling off during shipping, to random errors and failures while trying to operate, cameras sometimes working and sometimes not; the list is a mile long. It’s very disappointing to read a post like this for me personally. I hope creality actually makes the k2 plus situation right, instead of just hoping the dogs (us consumers) stop barking so we can be ignored until they decide to address issues I’m sure they were likely aware of before shipping out.

Hello Kris_Bee,

I imagine that Creality, like many big businesses, have many different departments that are dedicated to their own speciality. And just like Ford would not pull workers in the brake development team to go help out the developers in the dashboard electronics section.

I am not too sure THAT is the case really. I DO believe more tests should be done before final release… and … in the wild (beta testers that are professional real world users).

Cheers.

Hello Jim99Bass,

I guess that is silica gel beads in the bottom, but what method dries the filament ?

Cheers.

looking for it !
Maybe a pro CFS whit an active dryer inside …
something like a CFS whit the Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer Plus.
maybe versions whit 2 or 4 slots

Im too late now only recieved email today. I have had a week ot PETG . And more to come ,some abs and asa as well. My old ender3v2 with a sprite and S1 haven’t stopped gridfinity 24 hrs to organize me. My p*********** can only take one spool and I was about to pull the trigger on a new drier. Iwould be glad to help

Hi it must be a secrete I only got the email today and then I had to sign up again as it wouldnt let me in.
I would love to help You could help me I was just about to pull the trigger on more P######### Boxes . I have had S1 and Ender3v2 running none stop for a week with PETG, Organising all my stuff with gridfinty,
I still need to do workshop so plenty of drying to do.
I will have to look into why I had to reregister later Cheers Rick

I would love to help! I live here in Florida on the Gulf of America and the humidity is always 80% or above. I have two dryers and I have found that it is essential in order to get good prints and to have great adhesion between layers. If I’m selected I would love to share the news. It is a must!

I think the new dryers will have the ability to connect so maybe we see results in the slicer app or even in the cloud app. I can’t see how they can get much better. They already work very well. Maybe the ability to switch filaments and feed straight from the dryer which would convert the dryer to a CFS at that point. lol. Might as well add a dryer to the CFS. Other than that I don’t know. Would like to try one out though.

Yeah I’m down for BETA testing for sure!

The new product will offer in my prediction inline drying for the filament in use right before it is used to print. This would handle all four rolls in the CFS with no changes. I’d love to share my results using such a product with my K2 Combo.

“This presents a wonderful opportunity, Creality. My mind is full of ideas, specifically regarding the focus on ‘cutting-edge’ innovation. Below are my thoughtful observations on the new feature for the Dryer Box, highlighting the potential for integration with CFS:”

CFS Integration and Automated Filament Management is my boldest forecast. I have no doubt that this Dryer Box will be integrated with CFS, thus making auto-unloading and auto-loading from dryer to printer easy. One can imagine a day when a spool is dried and then loaded into the printer all on its own using CFS.
Intelligent Humidity and Weight Measurement with CFS Feedback: Expanding from CFS, we see intelligent sensors being designed to measure not just temperature and humidity but also filament weight. This information can then be relayed to the CFS, thus giving real-time feedback on filament consumption and making predictions about the need for replacement or drying of a spool.
Multi-Spool Drying with Individual Profiles: This feature can be integrated into the CFS, and several spools can be dried simultaneously, each with a customized profile. This way, the system can decide which spool to send to the printer according to the specific need for the material being used.
Automated Drying Cycles for All Types: The system determines what type of filament is being used via the use of RFID or other technologies in the CFS, then applies the most appropriate drying cycle.
The components for heating and air circulation would be carefully designed to create a synergistic relationship with the Controlled Filament Storage (CFS) system to provide stable and effective drying of the filaments within.
The touchscreen interface has a simple user interface that shows both the status of CFS and dryer, such as levels for filaments, drying process progress, and several alerts.
Cloud connectivity and remote control via Creality Cloud: Full integration with Creality Cloud has been achieved, enabling remote access to, control of, and monitoring of CFS and dryer. I am enthusiastic about investigating the possibility for incorporating a Dryer Box with CFS. If this is a possibility, I would be happy to provide in-depth feedback in terms of high-quality images and video and to test thoroughly in a variety of conditions. I do have a concern regarding secrecy, and I will do my best to maintain the integrity of this opportunity with respect. I have a full setup for CFS and a number of printers, and I would be happy to thoroughly investigate all aspects of this device. I look forward to hearing from you on Friday.
