BOUGHT A RAPTOR 3D SCANNER AND IS AS USEFUL AS A BRICK.

I installed CrealityScan4. Connected the Scanner as advised. Device gives this error. I read in internet there is a problem with windows (I cannot install an older version) or firmware, which has to be updated using CrealtyScan4… which doesnt start because the device doesnt start also.

Can someone in Creality customer support give me any solution after spending more than 1000USD in a scanner that doesnt work out of the box?

Hello !

I would suggest you to reach the customer service :

Thanks Alex. Looking for information I found out a way for upgrading the firmware of the raptor device using a cellphone and a usba to usbc adapter. I did that and now everything is ok.

At device manager there are no errors. At security and privacy settings everything is allowed to access the cameras. I even connect to each camera using the setup and they work.

BUT…. scanner isnt recognized by the software, I feel I am near of getting this to work. Installed the last Creality Scan 4 software and firmware. Windows device manager shows me all cameras working ok and I can access them by windows. But the Creality software doesnt detect the scanner. Does anyone knows how can I work this out? I am sure I am not the first one to be in this situation.

EDIT: Just to clarify. I have tried multiple ways to connect the scanner and it is connected at tbe back of the computer to 3.2 USB ports that works flawless.

I will add some information about the computer:

GPU:

CPU-RAM
96GB of fast DDR5 RAM… without any issues.

I am really lost with this scanner and its software. Now firmware is ok and no errors in the devices, but software cant recognize the scanner.
When I select unistall windows update in the Creality Scan 4 software, it tells me there are no updates to uninstall. I am lost.
