CFS probs - posns 1 & 4 work fine, 2/3 not loading

Cant view that photo, not sure jf its my end or your upload… that circuit board “on” the loader afaik is the filament detector, there is a spring inside the tube similar to whats in the extruder front cover… so the board works hand in hand with the spring… “i think”

As you can now see its not a circuit board on a loader but a separate board in between ladders 3 snd 4.

Ok so yes, upstream of the loaders… so as per previous, i think you need to follow that to determine if it connects back to the 4-1 back or some central CFS circuit board…

Creality sent me two new CFS loaders so now I have 6 spares! and they were supposed to send me a new daughter/junction board for all the loaders but it did not arrive and I had to wait for another shipping cycle.

The daughter board appears to primarily convert individual loader LED signal lines and loader motor power to a single ribbon cable. Replacing the daughter board did nothing
BUT
I did notice the ribbon cable was damaged in 3 places as it appears to have been crushed by the loader assembly screws at one point or other - probably by me when chasing a blockage. I would have gone back to using loader 1 and not notice this till later when I tried to use ladders 2 and then 3.

Have requested replacement from Creallity.

some kind firmware fail, tryen on five cfs, the same - looks like sometimes(randomly) 5way hub bldc motor feed too hard/much ignoring endswitch and stop feed by overcurrent error(red led blinks twise/sec)

cfs use ms8828 3phase driver IC + bldc hall motor + mt6826 encoder under 32f303arm and i think someting goes wrong with firmware because it is all new stuff

max current of 8828 depends of Rsense, in stock it has 2x0.5r in parallel - 0.25r - about 2.5a, by removing one of Rsense max current drops to 1.3a, so it has not enough power to eat filament, it just catch error, but continue print

strange solution, but it works, anyway waiting for answer from creality, i’m sure thay will solve this bug

Creality sent me an email saying there are shipping me a new ribbon cable. As I believe it as my fault I offered to pay but no payment has been requested.

Well am pleased to report success after replacing the damaged ribbon cable - it’s the cable between the loaders daughter board and the CFS mother board.

To open up the CFS I followed this Replace CFS Mainboard | Creality Wiki

It’s relatively time consuming process with lots of screws and keeping some 6 ribbon cables from getting trapped when reassembling. The ribbon cable was the one that connects here - see red arrow.

The plug is glued onto the socket but a scalpel and a thing flat head screw drive was able to unstick it.

After replacing the cable I took a close up of the damage on the original cable with my digital microscope. I believe this happened when I took the loaders out of the CFS to look for a blockage before this problem arose.
When I reassembled it the ribbon cable got trapped between the loader motor block and the base of the CFS and I tried to screw in the screws and damaged the cable which affected loaders 2 and 3 only. I did not notice this afterwards as I most likely continued to use loader one some time and only later tried to use loaders 2/3 .

Somewhat disturbingly I have 3 screws left over after all this and while it’s working am not inclined to open it up to see where they come from.

I have to say Creality have done the right thing here. I counted up 18 emails sent over this and Creality generally responded within 24 hours most times. They also sent me over AUD$250 worth of parts to try and solve this problem. This was a tricky problem to resolve, Thanks to all those that Helped.

I have a problem with the same mother board to auto loader cable can you supply the part number please

Sparky8803

The part was sent as “主板PCBA_G_K2 Plus_无驱动_MCU-GD32F303CBT6”

Which translates to Motherboards PCBA_G_K2 Plus_ driverless _MCU-GD32F303CBT6
