This issue closely relates to what I just went through: K2 Plus issues with CFS
I picked up a K2 Plus on the 8th and my first big print was going to be a 36 hour print. However, after about 20 or so hours, I got an error about retraction issues. This is where things took a turn for the worst.
I noticed several issues. The first is that resuming a print from the K2 Plus has been extremely problematic. The nozzle would smack up against objects on the print after resuming, causing the print to fail and me needing to restart the print all over. The second is that the retraction issues became more and more frequent after restarting the print. At some point, I was unable to even get to the second layer because of the constant retraction issues.
Since I had a smooth experience with my X1C and P1S, I returned my K2 Plus because I figured this was a warning that would lead me down a deep rabbit hole. However, I’m now wondering: did I just end up with a crappy CFS, or is this a “Creality thing”?
Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’d love to go pick up another K2 Plus, assuming I had a defective CFS, but I’m torn.
