Creality Ender-3 V3 SE problems with print

print always dont stick on the bed and so it causes it to move around and make a whole blob of nothing

Ensure the bed is properly clean first, then wipe down with IPA. After this you need to check that your z-offset is correct, the autolevel is good but you will probably need to adjust the offset down by 0.05/0.1mm possibly more. I have to do this on my V3SE and V3KE, its a simple bit of tuning to do, but it takes practice to get it right.

well i relized you know the peice where it protects nozzle plastic thing it burnt it off some of it!!!

The silicone heat sock, these tear fairly easily and considered a consumable. You can buy spare socks on Amazon and Aliexpress.

Hello Bonfireman,

For curiosity reasons, what is the purpose of the “silicon heat sock” function wise.

Cheers.

Helps keep the temperature of the hotend stable/steady. Not tried running a print without one, but I dare say it will affect print quality. Is there an alternative material that will also act as an insulator, probably but it will cost more. Since changing my hotend to a Microswiss i have a number of spare socks that I no longer need.

Hello Bonfireman,

Thank you for the reply.
Now that you have explained it, it makes sense !
As the assembly is moving side to side fast and often, there would be movement against air that would alter the cooling of the hotend.

Cheers.
