Creality print V6

Just installed the creality print 6 and after installing there is no way to close the printer select box. I even tried cnt, alt, del and closing the app but when it reopens the box pops up again making it unusable.

Mine works ok.
However if you have a CFS do not use v6.0 as it is not configured for CFS.
PS
You have to search for printer again and then once found its is available in print page.
Also the first time there was no way to add printer; then the search function eventually appeared

Just loaded V6 update into Windows 11 system desktop. No way to close printer selection. Looks like this application is not yet ready for prime time use. Tsk… Code writers need to do more testing in real world I guess… :frowning:

After translating you response to English,

Mark the window with printer selection Press CTRL and turn the mouse wheel back - reduce the view and the confirmation button becomes visible at the bottom.

It worked perfect, Thank you.

Hopefully they will fix this for the people who don’t read the forum.

Its nice that I can add my Qidi and Snapmaker printers but I am not sure I like the one size fits all, unless it works as well as Orca. As with other versions of software it is a little too zoomed in to have access to all the buttons. Are chinese computers screens a different aspect ratio?

Well I thought this solved my problem until I tried to print something and clicked send to plate then the next box that pops up again is in the wrong format to continue and even the control and mouse scroll doesn’t work. I guess I’ll uninstall and go back to the old version until they get this finished.
It seems this should have been a beta version not something they released to the public.

I’m having a issue where all the files that it exports don’t work on my printer

Well the printers show up in the presets, I have added the Snapmaker (though I will be sticking with Luban for laser etching and routing) but on selecting either of my Qidi printers neither are actually added. My Ender 5 plus isn’t even there.

Still working on importing my custom filament and print profiles. Another observation I made is this version prints slower. I just reprinted a model that I printed yesterday in CP v5.1 and the 35 min print now takes 43. That is 20+ % slower!

Ok, got a chance to look at importing profiles. I went into v5.1 and exported profile configuration. Then into V6.0 and file/import/import configs . All my process and filament configs are now loaded. So it wasn’t a big deal. Just would have been nice if the update automatically inherited user defined configurations.
You will notice when V6 installs, it fully loads in its own directory instead of updating V5 to V6. The way Creality has been releasing updates, that is probably a good thing, because V5 is left intact and if you are having problems, you can just go back to it. At some point though, you will wnat to manually uninstall the older versions.

Thank you!

And solved thnx

Hi yorl,
I don’t think I will bother with version 6 unless someone mentions something really cool it can now do.

I have version 5.1.7 and it runs perfectly ok for me as it is.

Cheers.

Definitely a wind scaling problem. I have a 4K monitor and most if not all all pop up windows in CR6 do not scale properly.

try holding the ctrl and the scroll down on mouse that worked for me

Reduce la pantalla con la tecla Control y -, hasta que aparezcan los botones de confirmar o salir
