I have created this thread with the hope ALL mentions of problems found when using CP version 6 can be written here.
At present, there are so many new posts scattered around the place over many days, often by people that think they are the only ones having a problem with it.
I am sure this thread will keep it self toward the top by it self and be seen …
After slicing an STL file and sending it to the printer, the printer starts printing another previous print.
Version 6.02.1574
Before, I had a few printouts that worked. The problem occurred all of a sudden and continued even after restarting the program and also the computer
Can’t get the account login to work on Creality Print 6 Mac. come on Creality get your crap together. Does anyone in the company actually try the programs before releasing it? This is getting pathetic.
This happens every time I try to use Creality Print 6. It is more than frustrating. It is basically unusable. I am not gonna delete every previous print every time I print a new part. Version 5 works better for me.
I’ve had the exact same issue multiple times since upgrading to the same version (6.0.2.1574).
Creality Print looks as though it’s going to print the STL that you send to the printer, but the printer (Ender3 KE) prints the previous STL.
Creality 6 is one huge problem. It stops the printer from communicating with it, it causes layers to shift by generating erroneous codes, it prints outdated files and it prints previous ones. With the V3 KE printer, the preset filaments have disappeared … . But there is a solution. Uninstall and go back to Creality Print 5.
There is no possibility to start printing with calibration.
The option to print with calibration is not active.
The Z axes, top and bottom, are mixed up in the printer control.
If the Z axis is at 0, then the up command leads to an error, the down command raises the carriage up.
In this case, printing occurs normally.
The “Backlight” indicator does not control anything.
On “Creality Print” version 5xxx, calibration works, the Z axis responds normally
Tell me, is this a known problem?
Will the software be repaired?
Why does calibration no longer work and what can be done about it?
Just because, I decided to see what Version 6 was like at present, so I installed it on my main computer and also on a laptop in the work room.
All worked well I guess, slicing an object showing less time for the exact same item in Version 5.1.7xx with exactly the same settings.
So, I thought, maybe Version 6 is ok now … NO … It would not find my printer/Sonic pad when searching for a device and therefore I could not send the file to the printer to print !!!
To be honest, I had nothing better to do at the time and thought,“why not try it” ?
Silly me.
I will be sticking with Version 5.1.7xxx as it is good and probably wait for Version 7.
Yes, 517 was very stable and worked well.but i tried yesterday, and it just disappeared off the screen twice. I read somewhere that maybe its not compatible with nvidia 1650 graphics. Gone back to 5.0. Have got 6.0.2,but not game to use it after what Ive read about it. Bit poor, considering the money Im spending on their products
Very true !
I think their lack of compatibility with too many things really.
There are quite a number of programs out there that use abilities of users possible graphics setups and are written to adapt …
Free stuff like Openscad for instance…
Paid for stuff like Autocad for instance …
Thats just 2 out of many.
