Hi I have an enclosure for my ender 3 v3 ke and the software creality print 5.1, i can set chamber heater. is there a way to connect a heater to the power supply or mainboard so its powered and controlled in the correct way?
Hello @Krillo75 …!
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
I would hesitate to do that as that machine has a 350 watt power supply. I’m guessing the heater you want to connect would pull more than the printer could put out and possibly ruin or burn out something…
Separate power supply and a heater with a thermostat. Do they make that for a printer enclosure…?
i spoke to customer service, they asked an engineer and gave a short no
so guess i will continue with idea i had and use these items im ordering from aliexpress
That would probably be best.
I would also want an accurate thermometer in there to verify the temps and not rely on just whatever the thermostat is putting out. I know the printer shows temp but always good to have backup…
We’d be interested in seeing your setup.
i have more gadgets on the way
Eibos filament dryer is next to the rig atm.
VOC air meter is coming that does 10 other things and atm have matador over/meat thermometer with 2 probes inside to see how warm it got.
bed at 100 and eibos on abs for drying mid probe hit 39, top probe 42 and nozzle temp 45
also will be making a Bentobox air filtration system, im looking forward to making this…
