Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my Ender 3 V3 KE printer. When homing the X-axis, the printer starts vibrating and making strange movements, eventually resulting in an error key: 2022.
I’ve checked the voltage, and it’s correct (230V). I tightened the belt using the screw, but it made things worse. I also adjusted the eccentric nuts on the X-axis motor, but there was no improvement.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what might be causing this issue? I’m attaching a video so you can see what’s happening.
I would check the end stop micro switch, make sure it is clicking when the printhead goes fully to the left. Do this without power though.
If you can take the print head cover off check the electrical connections going to the board on the printhead.
Just so you know the video link is not working for me.
Thank you for your response. I have verified that the printer’s endstop system is working correctly. In fact, if I press the switch while it is making erratic movements, the printer acknowledges that it has reached the X-axis limit.
Additionally, I have fixed the video issue so you can now watch it and hear how the printer sounds.
The video works for me. Its an odd thing happening, my V3KE printhead touches on the microswitch twice. Yours seems to touch once then for some reason goes to the left side. I’d be checking the limit switch is properly connected and also check the ribbon cable is properly connected with no bent pins.
