Ender 3 V3 KE filament sensor not stopping prints

I got my printer around 2 weeks ago. Everything is fine except for filament runout sensor. It does toggle the led light depending on if filament is running through it, but when I am printing anything and filament runs out, the printer keeps on going. The sensor light goes out, but no error on screen. Is there any way that I can check if the printer is seeing the sensor? I checked the wiring and all seems to be plugged in as it should.

Hello !
I have a KE, I will try to check it tonight and tell you cause I don’t remember exactly if there is a symbol on screen for the filament runout sensor.

I do remember there is one for the V3 XZ, the Hi and the K2Pro but since the layout of the V3 K3 is a bit different (not Klipper), I prefer to check before saying something wrong

Hey, I contacted Creality support over email and got sent a replacement sensor. After installing it, nothing has changed. I believe something might be wrong with the printer itself. I’ll update if I get this fixed.

Did you update the firmware?

Sorry. Forgot

When you put the filament into the sensor, do you see a blue light on ?
