Not adhering to the bed properly, either the bed needs cleaning properly or the z-offset is too high. You can also try gluestick, no shame in that.
Hi, thank you for your reply. What could be used for cleaning?
Martin.
Most of us use isopropyl alcohol.
Depending on your country wash with Fairy/Dawn/Dreft washing up liquid as if doing the dishes, dry it with paper towels then wipe down with high purity isopropyl alcohol. NOT rubbing alcohol as that contains other ingredients that can cause problems, you can use acetone but be super careful as it can damage PEI plates. Between prints a wipe down with isopropyl to keep it clean. Try not to touch the build plate with your fingers, finger grease can stop adhesion. A wash is only needed every couple of weeks printing but alcohol wipe every print if you can.
Hello,
thank you for reply. So, I return back to printing after several days. I’ve cleaned up surface and probably it helps. I’m printing starter kit parts for HP Otto robot. And it’s hard work Another part has issue with “floating cantilever”. What can I do with his? I enabled support but it seems that it do nothing.
Which part in particular, there seem to be very many. What type of support are you using?
I don’t realy know, I just enable support. After third try I was successfull. I need to study this support because I’m not familiar with that.
