really struggling to do batch prints with a brand new ender 3 v3 plus.it happily prints one at a time -but on a batch seems to fail midway bu skipping rows or something - it makes no sense im literally printing bottles so a round surface - worked fine till about halfway then stopped printing evenly then started printing fine again -
Hi @user9364473789 This sometimes happens when the printer starts doing longer travel moves during batch prints. Even though the model is simple, printing multiple parts means the head is constantly moving between objects, which can expose small issues that don’t show up when printing one at a time.
A couple of things worth checking are the filament path and spool to make sure the filament feeds smoothly and isn’t getting tugged during fast travel moves. It’s also a good idea to check belt tension and make sure the gantry moves freely, as missed or inconsistent motion can cause sections that look like skipped or uneven extrusion before the print recovers again.
Let us know what you find. If nothing we can dig a little deeper to get to the bottom of this.

thanks for the reply - it seems that the filament which was generic pla was the issue. creality filament worked fine…
@user9364473789 I’m glad to hear that you got it to print correctly. Just a note… Remember to always calibrate for any new filament that you’re using. profiles work fine, but if you want to get the most out of any filament (optimised for quality and speed), calibration is key.
I’m linking you to another post of mine where I outlined the sequence in section C:
