Ender 3 V3 SE - Print head moves upwards at corners of first layer

Hey there!

I am experiencing some strange printing failures with my Ender 3 v3 SE.

The first layer of the perfectly flat model cannot be printed correctly, no matter what I try. The print had always lifts up towards the edges of the rectangular shapes of the models I try to print, as if trying to adjust to severe bed level issues. But the bed leveling went fine. I repeated it three times by now and everything is within the green range.

I can see the print head lift about 1mm above the print bed towards the edges of the model, which can also be felt by holding onto the z-axis rod. I reset the settings on the printer twice and leveled again. But I did not find the cause.

I also did try all three slicers I have - Cura, Creality Slicer and Orca Slicer, but all of them cause the same issues.

When moving the 4 models around on the build plate, the issue remains. It just moves to different spots, “following” the models. I have absolutely no idea what can cause this, especially since I use the very same slicer and settings on the second Ender 3 V3 SE that sits right next to this one.

Do you have any idea what can cause this weird behavior?

Thank you in advance for all your help!

Do you have a video of it doing this?

Sorry for the late answer. Lost my data for this forum.

As for your question: I have a poor quality phone camera that doesnt exactly want to focus on the moving print head in video mode.

Here are pictures of the leveling, the print attempt and the poor quality video. I hope the vertical movement is at least somewhat visible. It is at least a millimeter of lift towards the edges of the printer, despite the print bed being leveled.

As you can see, the video is a mess. I just hope it at least catches the unprovoked and significant lift towards the right corner of the print.

The left corner produces the same lift… just towards the left.

I did not test front and back for now. Trying to print in the center for the time being.
