Error after install Nebula Kit

Greetings to all and thank you for your time and attention.
I recently installed a Nebula Kit on my Ender V3 SE, the entire installation process flows correctly, even after install I can print from the PC, the problem occurs after turning off the machine. When turning the machine back on, a system error appears on the screen (screenshot attached).
I have tried to restore factory settings and reinstall again, I have tried to update the firmware (Creality Nebula Smart Kit Firmware - Creality) and always with the same result, the error appears again when the machine is turned back on.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I reverted to the original firmware and pad and it works fine. I then installed the nebula pad and upgraded the firmware and have the same error again. Has anyone found a resolution to this?

Hi, i had the same thing and kinda solved it…

What u have is a nebula kit that is configured for Factory QA (background characters)

On every boot it uses factory settings to overwrite your config and no software update will fix it, when it does it no longer will recognizer your printer (as far as i know in factory it is configured to test with ender s1, so unless u have it u have to do some stuff)


  1. Acquire software with ssh access

  2. somehow find factory_settings config file

  3. modify this file to contain ender 3v3 se settings

  4. voila on each reboot it generates additional files and correctly overwrites main config file with correct file

*Wifi settings are not affected
