Feeling remarkably stupid

…but for some time now the selection of filaments in my K2+ printer has not been reflected in Creality Print. Is there some way to click a button to tell Creality Print “Read the filaments from the printer”? I feel sure there used to be, but for the life of me I cannot find it now…

CFS and Creality Print not syncing spool slot

I am having an issue where the Creality print software doesn’t recognize the spool/color. The CFS itself reads the filament, feeds it properly and shows it is ready with the indicator light. But on Creality print, it doesn’t show there is a spool in that slot. It is a cardboard spool but it has treated edges. I even tried printing the caps someone posted for the cardboard spools, but even with them on. I have tried moving the location of the spool to a different slot. It still doesn’t recognize …

Certainly seems similar, though I haven’t encountered the “unedited consumables” part. I’m hoping the answer given by EvoLabs is a fix.

Creality Print can be finicky at times. I have found that 1) you should make sure that the printer is powered on and connected to the network before you start Creality Print, and 2) make sure the printer is selected as the “Current Device” on the Device tab. (see picture)
