Hi Everyone,
In my previous question, people suggested me to us a filament dryer to reduce stringing.
I recieved my filament dryer yesterday and the first thing i dried was tpu. I had about 30% Humidity and I reduced it to around 17% by running the dryer for about 7 Hours.
I started drying my Hyper PLA Black and it has about 35% Humidity. I put in the dryer for the full night and today morning there was almost no change. It was abou 30%.
I started drying it in the morning too and it seems that the humidity is not reducing, i am drying it with 50 degree and i have almost dryed it for 18 Hours and i have seen that every 30 mins if i remove the lid the humidity reduces by around 1%.
I decided to use a tree support piece to keep the lid form closing and it has a gap and it improved the results significantly.
I feel we should not use the dryer with this workaround and dryers are supposed to be hassle free. Has anyone made an upgrade or any thing for the dryer (filament dryer box 2.0 by creality)
