Filament temperature - silly question

Ok, this may be … no it is a noob question, but first time I’ve come across it after nearly 12 months: I have a PLA filament (Galaxy black) that needs a higher temperature when printing from the CFS - just slides right off the bed using Generic PLA - but for the life of me can’t get the workflow right,

So how /where do I force a higher temperature? Do I create a new custom filament with a higher temperature range and load that into the CFS (how?) or is there a way of bumping up the temperature within the SLicer settings?

Hi at @GSV_NFA :slightly_smiling_face: There’s no such thing as a noob or silly question here so feel free to ask anything and we will assist to the best of our ability. We all started somewhere and then learnt along the way. Soon enough you will be giving other users advice on how to solve problems.

Kindly have a look at this post where I responded to another user. His issue was different, but the same calibration principles still apply. You can start with a generic profile and then get everything dialled in perfectly in this way:

If you run into any issues, get in touch here then we will deal with it accordingly :star:

Warmest Regards
