Has anyone been able to get a replacement K2/Pro/Plus printer or a refund?

I’m finally getting a refund for one of my K2 Pro’s.

Why they decided to refund my money:

After a month of troubleshooting the problem of the printer head slamming into the left wall plus other errors, Creality gave up.

The last iteration of troubleshooting, Creality shipped a Y axis motor to fix the printer head hitting the left wall. I reviewed the video for replacing the Y axis and started replacing the motor. Everything was fine until I got to the point of removing the motor. The motor is located on the left side (looking at the back of the printer) and above a fan. It’s held in a “L” shaped bracket with tension pulleys on it.

The video showed turning the motor at an angle so it would clear the fan shroud and pull it down to get it out. I tried as many different angles I could think of but no luck. Looking closer at the video, The fan below the motor was about 26mm deep leaving about 25mm to get the motor out.

My printer had an additional shroud sticking out about 36mm more leaving no extra room to pull the motor out. I contacted Creality about the problem and they said I would need to follow these steps to get the motor out.

If you look at the steps, it takes apart 75% of the printer. This is a huge job. The chances of me screwing it up would be high. If the problem was not the Y axis, the thing would been a huge time suck and no better outcome.

Finally Creality gave in realizing there was no easy way to take the Y axis motor.
