I need to calibrate my XYZ and E-steps, however, I can’t figure out how to connect my printer to my laptop. I’ve heard the USB ports on the screen/pad won’t connect with Octoslicer or Pronterface.
Does anyone know how I can update the step settings on the printer, or connect it to a computer?
I can connect to the printer via WiFi. Not used Octoprint or Pronterface, think you have to root the Nebula pad to do that, not been brave enough for that. The web interface to the printer works perfectly fine. Not tried Creality Cloud, I don’t use Cloud based things.
Go to the printer and in the network settings find the IP address (assuming you are connected to WiFi), enter the IP address into your web browser and you can access the printer. My printer is in the shed, I am in the house, I can send gcode, print, watch the webcam from the house. I might root it at some point to get full Klipper.
I can adjust offsets from the web interface but not the rotation distance, I’ve not modified that on my KE. I’ normally adjust Z offset at the printer so I can adjust whilst watching the bead go down.
