Where can we download the cable/chain/tube riser stl you referred to in the video? I just ordered an extruder but can’t find the riser for the DXC2 anywhere. Will the DXC1 riser I found work with the DXC2 and Creality K2Plus?

The one I show in the video is not available yet until the designer publicly uploads it.

You can get the one made by Phaetus without tube guide, I’m working on a remix of that one to include it: GitHub - Phaetus/DXC-2-Extruder · GitHub They also have a hotend cover.

I don’t know which riser are you talking about but the K1 chain is different from the K2 series so I don’t think so.

Does the DXC2 use the std cutter from creality as I cannot see an offering from Phaetus ?

They look compatible but Phaetus cutter looks like you can simply replace the blade rather than just replacing the whole assembly.

Anyone having problems with the filament cutter not cutting then the CFS unit pulling from the (DXC2)extruder then breaking the filament? I just reduced the tension on the extruder head and will try again but looking for some insight from anyone else that has had this problem.

This is the back end firmware edit instructions for the adjustments you so intelligently noticed .,

Do I comment out the command or just edit and save though?

I can confirm you cannot use Creality cutter with this setup. It will give you an error saying the cutter is missing

@KingLawal

Cheers for that.

Mine arrives friday so it will be the first thing I look at.

I compared both and the size is identical, so I assume you can use Creality one on the DXC2

Yeah! Someone commented on the video about this final step, I will do another video… That’s the problem of building something without instructions :sweat_smile:

I gonna try mine to see if it reports me the same error!

you need to hook me up with your phaetus contact to see if they’ll send me one to try on my k2 plus as well :slight_smile: :smiley:

Hope this helps
