I have had my K1 max for about a year now and I absolutely love it. Last month, I saw Creality launch their new CFS, and I bought it without reading all of the fine print as I had been following it for a few months. After I purchased it, I saw that it is currently only compatible with the K2. I tried to cancel the order but it was already in route. I met the FedEx driver in my driveway and cancelled it then, signed that I cancelled it, and thoight that was the end of it. When I got home yesterday, it was on my front step. I am waiting for Creality support to email me back with a new shipping label so I can return it.
Now that the back story is out of the way, here is my question. Does anyone know when the “Compatability kits” will be available so I can use the CFS with my K1 max?
I have asked Creality support but they are unable to give me a timeframe. Just wondering if someone has heard anything from the grapevine.
Not sure what they include in that kit but I wouldn’t buy it yet whatever the price as the K1 series and Ender-3 V3 series would need an updated extruder with a cutter, nozzle wiper module, firmware and possibly a power adapter.
I bought my K1 Max from them last year without an issue. I believe they are one of the authorised resellers.

But as you say the Trustpilot reviews are not good,
I think it’s better waiting to see reviews of the product before taking the plunge, by that time more companies will have them in stock.
As creality itself gets a pretty bad trustpilot score and I had a good experience twice with them just before Christmas I thought I’d go for it and place an order but it just returns an error stating “insufficient inventory” so presumably it’s not actually in stock yet.
Was told the kit will be on sale around the end of Feb for $52.00, Also you have to buy the CFS BOX the one that is used for thew K2 Plus, for $299.00, It WILL work with the new Kit. The KIT will work on ALL K1 Series. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6wN1ydGA30
There will announce something in mid Feb. Maybe the CFS upgrade kit is one of them.
I saw there is a CFS kit installation video tutorial on Creality FB group. I believe it should be ready to ship out shortly. Hopefully that with a reasonable price.
