I’m curious how long people have had their K2 Pro and what kind of issues, problems you have had?
I have 2 K2 Pros and both were purchased in June, ‘26. I really like the printers, fast, well built, and I like the Creality Print slicer better than Bambu’s Studio.
Unfortunately, both are dead in the water.
One started crashing into the left wall of the printer and throwing different CM2789 X & Y, TE2762, and XS2060 errors. Tech support is sending a new Y axis motor but I have feeling this won’t fix the problems, hopefully I’m wrong.
The other had a blob of death and after cleaning it out, the printer started getting FR2849, FO2837 and CM2789 X & Y errors. The printer only showed the spool holder filament and the extruder crashing into the left side of the printer. I was troubleshooting the CFS issues but the CFS stopped turning on, no lights or readout. I swapped the CFS and same results.
I bought a Bambu H2D to backfill for the 2 K2’s while they are down. To be honest, I like the K2 slightly better than the H2D. H2D is a very good printer but I found the K2 faster partially because the Creality slicer has more controls to better the print. But while the K2 are down, I like the H2D better.
I got mine in September last year and have just under 3000 hours on it. Only issue I have had was fedex damaging the toolhead cable and cfs. Creality sent me the parts I needed and it’s been a workhorse ever since. Other than the occasional clog or jam, no issues.
That’s great to hear. 3000 hours with only minor issues is impressive.
The Bambu H2D has been helpful getting some product shipped. The k2 Pro prints faster so I get more print runs in a day. I truly hope I can get mine running and reliable.
Thanks, it’s good to hear others are having good results with their K2 Pro. I have one of the 2 now up and running and it’s a good printer. So much to like about them. The other is now repacked and ready to send back for a refund. It has taken far more time than wanted but I feel like I got what I needed at the end.
Hopefully the others with similar situation are able to get the problems addressed and or was able to get them replaced/refunded.
Three month, 500 hours of print. Lots and lots of errors. Have replaced the extruder, filament break detector, the tubes, along with all the routine maintenance. I have large clumsy fingers and have to do this fine mechanical work every time I print. I am so fed up with this printer. The custom support doesnt help eighter.
