Last weekend my printer (cr10 se) had the same error. The error in my case was the load cell / strain gauge. Check this post for the solution: What is this part on the CR-10 SE?
In my case the load cell was not broken, but its signal was not detected by the printer. I disabled it in printer.cfg and did manual z offset correction.
