I connected a nebula pad to my ender 3v3 SE printer, everything worked fine. I turned the printer off and then turned it on again and the nebula pad doesn’t work. I got into the nebula pad but it doesn’t communicate with the printer so I reset it and the scenario repeated itself. I tried it several times. I uploaded the latest firmware for the printer and the nebula pad. Another strange thing is that now I don’t know how to start the old panel or the new one. Please help me. and I almost forgot but when I look at the printer through the PC the camera is active but nothing else and the page says error XS3002
Need clarification of the printer, the 3V3 doesn’t need a nebula pad, it is already a Klipper machine.
Im sorry, it’s an ender 3v3 SE printer, I’ve already fixed it.
Hello Archandel,
By
Is that referring to the fixed original post, or to the problem with the Nebula pad ?
Cheers.
Oh, only fixed the original post and add name 3d printer
@Bonfireman @Radical_Data You look very experienced, but please can you help me, I’m really desperate. I’m also attaching a photo, here it is.
Hello Archandel,
I have the same printer but have the Sonic pad rather than the Nebula pad.
Either way, my approach to the problem weather I had Sonic or Nebula pad is to go back to the start, if I was stuck.
Yes, it is a bit of undoing, but I would be in a position to make sure the printer is working as should, then check that the Nebula pad is able to connect to Wifi by it’s self … then … install it again.
I will assume that whilst installing the Nebula pad, at some point you had to flash the printer with new firmware… therefore …
You will need to get hold of the original firmware file for the printer and put it on an 8GB SD card (no bigger than 8GB card!).
With the original screen fitted to the printer and the printer turned off, insert the SD card and turn the printer on.
Wait a minute and turn the printer off, remove the SD card, turn the printer on and check that it operates properly.
Now, start again. But take slow steps …
Don’t use Creality Print version 6 at this point. Use version 5.1.7 or Orca.
Cheers.
@Radical_Data
I tried downloading the firmware from the creality website (latest) and when I did it and put it on the SD card and turned on the printer, the old display did not show any letters, I could click on the morning line and something was happening but I did not see the letters only empty lines. I am not sure about the size of my SD card I think it is 8gb but I will check it at home. Nebula worked properly, the internet went, I could also control the printer via mobile but after restarting the printer it says this message but I will try to start again today if I manage to get the old display. and I almost forgot but when I look at the printer through the PC the camera is active but nothing else and the page says error XS3002
Hello Archandel,
As a point of reference for me, you say that it was all going ok with the Nebula pad, then you turned it off.
When you turned it on the problem started ?
Did you at some point (whilst it was running ok) update any firmware ?
Personally, I would not be using “THE” latest firmware … at present there are many out there having printer problems due to installing the latest. Same goes for Creality print latest version 6.
If you can, go back a version … maybe something around Oct/Nov 2024
Oh, by the way, the 8GB SD card size is important as the printer does not like bigger.
Cheers
Hi @Radical_Data
Yes that’s right the problem only started after I turned the printer back on.
I didn’t update but the latest one is uploaded there, I checked it, I’ll try to put the older one there but I read that they had a problem uploading the older one there but I’ll try it. but thank you for your efforts to help, I’ll let you know how I get on
Archangel I think I did same mistake, you have to start again (reset nebula pad), do all the config steps and, when you finish and turn off the printer, REMOVE the SD card before turn ON the printer again. (sorry for my bad english)
@dafc31 thanks for your advice, should I remove the sd card after I turn it off? or should I remove it before I turn it off? anyway, I’m not sure if I did it at all so I’ll try and thanks again
bonjour,
Hi, Can you tell me how you fixed it. I had a similar problem. When I restarted it would just sit on starting machine and go no further. I have gone back to the original setup of the ender 3 v3 se and the old control panel. The Nebula system is back in its box untill I can get some help or untill I decide to try again. Thanks Ray.
Hi, I didn’t solve the problem . In the upper left corner, right after the first launch (during installation), you can change the language.
Unfortunately I didn’t manage to do it, my nebula is also in the box. But I still try to do it from time to time. If you manage to do it, please let me know.

I installed the nebula a few days ago and have this same problem. I have been pressing ‘fault report’ which lets me access the settings to factory reset. I then set up, calibrate and use it for the day. If you burned the firmware for the printer once before then there is no need to insert the memory card and do it again. This is a bit of pain but the process only takes about 15 minutes and then you’re good to go, until you turn it off again lol
Also I’ve notice the factory test screen in the pictures and I have the same screen on start up. I’m not sure if this is normal as I can’t seem to find much online about it, this is probably the only forum I’ve seen it on other then my own device
Where did you purchase the nebula kit from? I got mine from AliExpress
Hi everyone!
I had this error in my Ender 3 v3 ke and I did what @ryansalt did which was press fault reporting and factory reset I spent 3 hours opening the printer and checking all connections until I found this post and I thought it would be a problem with the nebula pad. So I just reconnected the nebula pad and boom…!! What an idiot am I. It was all because of that stupid pad which made me frustrated for 3 whole hours! Thank,s everyone tho!
