NebulaPad on Ender-3 not working

Hi, i have little-big problem here, and maybe someone knows what and where, i recently bought nebula pad for my ender 3 v3 se, since it was avaliable in my country, and dedicated hardware for this printer, i cant get it to work though, i cant burn official software on my printer, cant even try to downgrade software of my printer, i have tried almost every troubleshooting tutorial avaliable online (including like 7 different sd and micro sd cards, formatted correctly, renaming different files for printer to read, connecting disconnecting every cable in printer, and in pad), i have tried installing all of the versions of nebula software on the pad, i get past screen when it lets me choose my printer, and either it crashes out with error, or just straight up freezes with “connecting…” on screen, my hw version is.: “CR4NS200320C14”, anyone knows how can i get it to finnaly work, i mean, first of all it wasnt free, and second thing is, that my printer is officialy supported by nebula pad, im lost and i dont know what to do anymore. LITERALLY ANY kind of help is appreciated, and thank you in advance, i just want to use my printer.

anyone? ;-;

Hi

Exactly what software are you trying to put on the printer?

Have you been to Creality Downloads, Ecosystem? see this link Creality Nebula Smart Kit Firmware - Creality .

Follow instructions provided.

Good Luck

did that already not working

I have the same problem, the firmware for the C14 motherboard haven’t been released yet, i’m going to change the motherboard fot a C13 version. Be careful you can brick the printer if you flash with the wrong firmware.

Yeah, bu shouldnt that information be ob the website so ppl know before purchase?

Just to let you guys know, I had an issue upgrading to Nebula and my printer is only a few weeks old, it kept telling me Abnormal Nozzle. Eventually after lots of digging I came across a post saying that Nebula wasnt compatible with the C14 motherboard. Guess what when I checked my motherboard was a C14. I then proceeded to buy a C13 motherboard from Amazon for £26.00 and lo and behold I now have Nebula working. I think Creality should make people aware of this so as people are not buying Nebula only for it to fail. I sent all my log files to Creality when these errors happened last week and as such I have still had no response. I am also now out of pocket as I have had to pay for hardware for my new printer in order for it to work. Creality aren’t very fast at responding and I would have had this new printer sat there as a statue unable to use it.

right now mine is paperweight…

In an Email to me, Creality have confirmed that the Creality Nebula Pad KIt cannot be installed on Ender3V3SE printers as the Firmware needed to run on machines fitted with C14 motherboards has not been developed to date. They state that the upgraded firmware is under development but do not provide a completion date. I am far from happy with this, as the time and effort that I have wasted trying to install the uninstallable, added to my substantial financial investment involved and what amounts to mis-selling of the product. Lets hope the new Firmware becomes available sooner rather than later.

Reach back out to them I just received firmware from support to test for this very issue. though they may be limiting the test groups. I have had to send them several videos documenting the process. but I would say its officially coming sooner than later. I have a sonic pad but they sent me firmware for the nebula. I have my c14 running on my sonic pad as of right now printing away. I’m just glad that the stock profile for the old SE was able to communicate and work while I wait for Sonic pad updates for an official profile. but yes the documentation on this issue is incredibly lackluster and almost every forum boiled down to “you must be doing it wrong”

Just wait on that board replacement, they are actively testing firmware now. I am one of them that has some of the test firmware and it seems to be working well for me. so its probably final release soon.

any idea how long will it take?, from what i saw last firmware update was more than year ago…

not sure but I suspect soon.

I contacted them for the same thing in June. I got purchased the Sonic Pad 2 and they said the Firmware to run on the c14 motherboard is not available yet. They told me it would be released in August. It is now mid October. I am def not happy with this.

yeah they offered me the pre release nebula pad firmware to fix the sonic… i will say it worked but wasnt stable. fortunately i got mine as an official refurb dirt cheap and then micro center offered the nebula pad dirt cheap so i am on klipper now. just sitting on the sonic till they finally get around to updating it

ahhh goofy ahh corp, relasing hardware, while not giving any info thats not working with certain printers, and hoping ppl will just buy it, and not return it…. and one patch takes half a year (until now, probably a lot longer) to get it to work with what it is supposed to work with since relase…

im just disappointed up until this moment, since i have problems with stock printer computer with long prints it just stops mid print and crashes out refusing to continue… with large models i need to splice them into 1-2 hour prints and have to glue them together sacrificing quality, instead getting one big nice piece, i hoped nebula would fix that, but i guess waitin time still

soooo there i found software to finnaly get it working on my motherboard

and now i have unholy layer shift, my prints look now like leaning tower of Piza, i think im done with trying to get it to work, another piece of electronics trash in my drawer i guess
