I just received an Ender3 v3 Plus. The screen language is in Chinese. And there is no option in the Set-up menu to change the language to English like it shows in the manual. I have tried the factory reset, and have also tried to update the firmware with no success. The firmware on the printer is version 1.2.3.23, I tried updating to 1.2.3.28 which is the latest from the Crealitycloud firmware download site, but I get an “Installation Failed” message. I’ve searched through messages and found others with this problem but have not found a solution. I’m using Google translator to move through the screens but need a long term solution. Can anyone help with a solution to change the screen language to English, please.

I did get the menu in English at least. I found this post on Reddit. Look at response by AZBeerhound.

I still can’t update the firmware though or connect to Creality Print/Cloud. Very frustrating.
I did buy the refurb unit from ebay, and it has been working great using the CrealityPrint app. But I’d like to also be able to use the machine from the display screen, so I’d like to change it to English.
I’ve been working with Creality support and they sent me the firmware version 1.2.3.23, but it won’t update since it is the same as the current version.
Thanks for the info on Reddit, but I think i would like to try other avenues before messing with the root directory and files.
Will let you know if I find a solution.
