This has just started happening.
I go to do a print and the touch probe comes down to the bed, changes colour but continues to travel downward.
I have to switch off before something breaks.
It appears that the touch sensor is working but the signal is not making a response with the firmware.
Does the build plate move when the probe touches it?
Check physical alignment.
Put the nozzle real close to the board and move it manually from side to side. If the distance between nozzle is not event all across the travel, you will need to make and adjustment with the vertical screw rods to make sure all is even.
i have seen that issue on a number of the se models.
I found the problem.
SOme filament was melted and set on the end of the nozzle and was touching the bed before the sensor could reach the bed, so it kept on travlling downward because the sensor had not triggered
