I’m having issues with the SD card slot on my machine. It seems to have a loose connection: prints are failing and files often disappear, though the card works perfectly on my PC.
I’ve noticed that if I apply slight downward pressure on the card, it stays connected. Should I try to open the unit and adjust the pins, or is it better to replace the slot/board entirely?
Any suggestions on the best way to proceed?
HI, I’ve been having a similar problem with the card not reading. I solved mine with a layer of blue tape on the back, which pushes the contacts closer together. It worked immediately.
Could you possibly post a picture of exactly where you are placing the tape?
I’m not clear if you are putting the tape on the board or the SD card?

It was just a little tape on the back of the SD card to push the contacts together
