I’ve buyed a new ender V-3 KE,
The problem is that every time I try to extrude or print something with it ,the gears won’t move. It says on the screen that its extruding/retracting but i don’t see or hear any gears move. When i feed the fillament manually it comes out of the nozzle, so there is no blockage. But every time i try to print nothing comes out.
Ive tried adjusting the spring on the extruder, nothing changed. The gears turn manually, but i don’t know if they normally turn that hardly.
I think there is a problem with the motor, but im not sure.
I use the temperature that they say i need to use on the fillament.
Does the extruder stepper motor turn? If you take the extruder and hotend off can you instruct the printer to extrude and see it rotating? Check the connections also check the ribbon connection and that there are no bent pins.

When i instruct the printer nothing happens, the stepper motor doesn’t turn. But it says it’s extruding on the screen. I maybe think there is something lose, but the connections seem fine and no pins are bent. Maybe something lose on the motherboard or a faulty stepper motor.
Or maybe the wires are broken, i don’t know how i can test them.
I doubt it is the stepper motor itself that is broken, I would think it something to do with the electrical connection, checking all connectors, unplug/plug-in.

Looks like a cable is broken/bend, i will buy a new one. We will see if this fixes the problem.
My Ender 5 plus extruder stepper cable went bad, new cable fixed it…eventually though the stepper itself went bad, luckily I had a spare. One thing I have learnt about owning Creality printers you should keep spares, but to keep enough spares to build a new machine is a little excessive, you don’t want to see how many spares I have in my toolkit.
