Unicorn hotend upgrade on KE clogs

I encountered a clog using the stock hotend on my KE, decided to upgrade to a unicorn hotend. Now its clogging every other print. It looks like heat creep when the filament is pulled, the filament is all twisted in what is supposed to be the heat break.

Placed thermal grease on the barrel of the nozzle, still the same.

I placed the stock nozzle back, at least am able to print small prints now.

Are there any changes in the slicer that is required for the unicorn hotend?

Let this be a cautionary tale for everyone.

I found the issue, i installed the cooling fan backwards, instead of pushing air to the heatsink it was pulling air through it, not as effective.

Reassembled it the right way around, and very satisfied so far with the unicorn hotend. happy days.
