Usb Conectivity with Ender V3 Ke

Hi I have just purchased the above printer and done a test print and all seems to be working ok.

But when I connect the printer to my Pc (via usb c), I get "unknown usb device port reset failed" then the device fallss off my system, Creality Print program or Cura can’t find the printer. I have tried removing the the item in Device Manager and rebooting Pc and it does’nt detect the printer on reboot. I know the usb lead works. I tried different usb sockets.

I am now getting “Machine Motherboard Comunication Anomaly” and recommendation to report fault via QR code which is only text when scanned.

I have my Broadband Router connected to the End V3 KE, I have upgraded to the latest firmware and also reset the printer to Factory Setting. I have read that the latest firmware may have caused the problem, and I have Reflashed the firmware back a few files.

I have tried to resolve the "unknown usb device port reset failed" via Google and haven’t got anywhere. I can’t understand why the Ender, when conected to my Boardband Router, which it says it has, cant be seen in Windows 11.

This problem these common in some shape or form, but no one seems fix the issue.

Any assistance would be appreciated for a complete Newie…

Kind Regards

Dave

I have the same problems on my iMac. Printer on USB-C port refuses to connect. Is there someone to advise to resolve this?

I don’t think you should be connecting to the USB-C port, I don’t think it is configured as a proper USB-C port. I think that port is just for the vibration compensation sensor.
