Using a glass build plate with Ender 3 V3 KE

Greetings, I’ve used a V2 for a long time with a glass (carborundum) build plate, and I like the finish that it leaves on that surface. I want to use a glass plate on my new V3 KE. Is this possible/advisable?

I don’t see why you can’t use a glass plate on a KE/SE, it would sit on the magnetic plate held in place by bulldog clips (placement of those would take some experimenting). The CR touch should be able to handle the different Z plane. Not a fan of glass, rather have the shiney side of PEI, but horses for courses.

Yeah should be fine. If your using input shaping you need to rerun as the bed will be heavier and you may have to tone down the acceleration down a bit due to that fact.

Also you will need to remove the locating screws on the rear of the bed they just unscrew out
