V3SE - Klipper printer.cfg

Hi Everyone.
So I have decided to change my V3SE to Klipper… (Regretting it atm)
Using Orca Slicer and tested with two different Printers

  1. V3SE and G-Code Flavor set to Klipper. Prints but the first layer looks very overextruded

  2. Generic Klipper printer - speed is amazing, but too fast for my V3SE. Keep getting y- axis shifts. Then the first layer also seems very overextruded. The short purge line infront of the print, is nice, but its alot thicker than the normal purge line Im used to.

So im asking for advice from other users that have Klipper running on their V3SE.
• is it really worth it changing to Klipper from Marlin.
• what does your purge line look like?
• if using Orca, could you possibly share your Orca Profile. And Klipper printer.cfg?

Thanx…

No one ?

Hello my friend. I made my account only to give you an answer. So, im not an expert, but looks like you are starting from a generic external klipper installation, what I would do is copy one of the printer.cfg of people with some experience, like this one> GitHub - koen01/ender3_v3_se_nebula

Be aware that those files are for klipper under the nebula pad, so take it as a reference and do not copy without copying only what you really need.

I have the nebula pad and it comes with some printer.cfg which is ready for the printer. My settings in orca are with the klipper flavor and after that it goes perfect, besides the usual tweaking with different materials.
